Scan Pattern

In addition to imaging settings, alignment, and autofocus settings, patterned samples require a Device Layout for scanning. Device layouts give nSpec the device coordinates, which is critical for analyzing and reporting device quality.

Device layouts can be imported via GDS or a CSV file of device coordinates, but more commonly are created manually using the device layout creation dialog at nScan - Stage View > Scan > Create Device Layout…
